Project Overview:

UAE water testing lab furniture project is a professional water quality testing laboratory located in the United Arab Emirates. The lab is used for raw water, tap water and wastewater testing, covering heavy metal analysis, chemical digestion and water sample pretreatment.

We delivered a full set of laboratory furniture including central island bench, wall side bench and a row of full steel fume hoods. The whole system is customized to adapt to the hot and arid climate of the Middle East, with strong resistance to acids, alkalis and common laboratory reagents.

This lab project was built for a local environmental testing institute in the United Arab Emirates. The facility carries out regular water quality monitoring for tap water, seawater, industrial wastewater and surface water. Sample pretreatment for heavy metal testing involves acid digestion and reagent preparation, which requires corrosion-resistant furniture and dependable ventilation. Our team delivered a full custom set of water testing lab furniture and fume hood solutions for this facility.

The main workstation inside the testing room is [lab island bench]. Its countertop uses phenolic resin worktop, suitable for frequent acid contact and routine cleaning. Each bench station comes with water taps, sinks, power outlets and gas ports for digestion devices and spectrophotometers. Under-bench PP storage cabinets hold acid reagent bottles, sampling containers and testing consumables. Wall-mounted side benches are arranged for sample temporary storage and data recording, forming a smooth workflow from sample receiving to final preservation.

Acid digestion produces harmful corrosive vapor, so multiple PP fume hoods were configured for the space. All hoods connect to a centralized exhaust system to discharge vapor outside the building safely. Our engineers cooperated with local ventilation contractors to calculate air volume, duct resistance and exhaust fan specifications. The face velocity of every hood meets safety standards for water analysis experiments. An independent reagent storage zone with PP cabinets separates acid and alkali to avoid dangerous chemical reactions.

We took the local coastal climate into full consideration during design. High temperature and salt fog in UAE accelerate rust on ordinary steel furniture. All bench steel frames use heavy-duty profiles coated with high-performance anti-corrosion epoxy powder, with strong salt spray resistance. Goods were packed in fumigated wooden crates to avoid damage during long sea shipping from China to UAE ports.

Reasonable zoning is essential for water testing labs, as cross-contamination will invalidate test reports. We divided the space into sample receiving, pretreatment, instrument analysis and waste storage areas. Fume hoods and reagent rooms are placed on the downwind side to stop vapor drifting toward precision instruments.
